abstract |
The present invention relates to an ultrapure water production apparatus using a capacitive deionization (CDI) electrode module. Ultrapure water production apparatus of the present invention comprises a pretreatment step of removing the fine particles and organic matter contained in the raw water; A make-up system process that removes dissolved organics or ions to create a pharmaceutical-grade ultrapure water; It is composed of a polishing system process for producing ultra-pure water for semi-conductor-grade through ion exchange resin and ultrafiltration (UF) after removing very small amount of organic matter by UV. The apparatus for performing the above includes a reverse osmosis (RO) membrane and a capacitive deionization (CDI) electrode module. |
