abstract The present invention relates to a cell population-hydrogel-polymer support complex differentiated into chondrocytes useful for the treatment of cartilage damage, a method for preparing the same, and a composition for treating cartilage damage containing the same as an active ingredient, specifically, differentiated into chondrocytes. Cell populations are dispersed in a hydrogel matrix and then inoculated into the polymer support, and the cell population-hydrogel-polymer support differentiated into chondrocytes useful for the treatment of cartilage damage in which the cell population-hydrogel complex is injected into the pores of the polymer support. The present invention relates to a complex, a method for preparing the same, and a composition for treating cartilage damage containing the same as an active ingredient. The cell population-hydrogel-polymer support complex differentiated into chondrocytes according to the present invention has excellent mechanical strength and flexibility and can effectively induce the regeneration of cartilage similar to natural cartilage while maintaining a constant form, thereby repairing cartilage damage. It can be used very usefully as a therapeutic agent.
