abstract The present invention is Agrobacterium turmeric ( Agrobacterium) tumefaciens ) and a method of preparing a carnation transformant and a carnation transformant prepared therefrom, and more particularly, (i) a vector which can be inserted into the genome DNA of a carnation cell and has a sequence as follows. Agrobacterium turmerics ( Agrobacterium) infecting the carnations of the carnation with tumefaciens ): (a) origin of replication operating within the carnations; (b) a promoter capable of promoting transcription in carnation cells; (c) a structural gene sequence encoding a foreign protein functionally linked to said promoter; (ii) repopulating the infected carnation fertilizer in a medium containing BAP (6-Benzylaminopurine) to form polycytheria; And (iii) a method of producing a carnation transformant, and a carnation transformant prepared therefrom, comprising the step of rooting the re-differentiated shoots in a rooting medium to form a transformed carnation.
