titleOfInvention Primer specific to the genes of red deer, Japanese deer, elk and reindeer and method for identifying antler varieties using the primers
abstract The present invention relates to a primer specific for a red deer ( Cervus elaphus ), a Japanese deer ( C. nippon ), an elk ( C. canadensis ) and a reindeer ( Rangifer tarandus ), and a method for identifying a antler variety using the primers. More specifically, each primer having a sequence specific to the genes of Japanese deer, red deer, elk and reindeer, and a method of identifying the antler species by multiplex-PCR using the primers. It is about. Primer of the present invention and the antler identification method using the same can be effectively used to prevent illegal distribution of horns of other animals other than antler by accurately discriminating the antler which is difficult to discriminate in the fragmented state.
