abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for isolating cultures of cord blood-derived mesenchymal stem cells and progenitor cells and to induce differentiation into mesenchymal tissue.n n n In the cell isolation culture method of the present invention, the cord blood is superimposed on Ficoll-Hippack solution, followed by centrifugation to obtain mononuclear cell layer precipitation, and the cells obtained by monolayer culture of the mononuclear cells are treated with antibodies against mesenchymal stem cell / progenitor cell specific antigens. After reacting for a certain time, only the cells bound to the antibody are separated and cultured using a cell separator to obtain mesenchymal stem cells and progenitor cells having high purity and excellent viability.n n n The mesenchymal stem cells and progenitor cells of the present invention have the ability to differentiate into various mesenchymal tissues such as chondrocytes or bone cells under appropriate differentiation medium and conditions.n n n Therefore, the mesenchymal stem cells and progenitor cells can be mass-produced through the cell isolation culture method of the present invention, and the resulting cells can be usefully used for the regeneration and treatment of damaged mesenchymal tissue. |
