abstract | The present invention relates to amphiphilic heparin derivatives having antithrombotic properties, methods for their preparation and uses. More specifically, amphiphilic heparin derivatives have increased the solubility in organic solvents or increased gastrointestinal membrane absorption by covalently binding a hydrophobic modifier to heparin, which is widely used as an anti-thrombotic agent for injections in the treatment of patients. It relates to a production method and use thereof.n n n In the present invention, in order to prepare such amphiphilic derivatives, hydrophobic modifiers that do not affect the human body are chemically covalently bound to heparin.n n n These heparin derivatives can be used as sustained release antithrombotic agents used for surface modification of all medical devices and artificial organs in contact with blood, oral antithrombotic agents, and oral drug delivery that enables oral administration of other drugs.
