The present invention relates to electronic smoking articles that provide improved aerosol delivery. In particular, the article comprises one or more microheaters. In various embodiments, the microheater provides improved control of vaporization of the aerosol precursor composition and provides reduced power requirements to achieve consistent aerosolization. The invention also relates to a method of forming an aerosol in a smoking article. |
