titleOfInvention | Process for producing aromatic polycarbonate |
abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide a method for preventing long-term, stable production of aromatic polycarbonate on an industrial scale, by preventing clogging due to the sticking of the effluent of the scrubber and its surrounding pipe. [Measures] The aromatic dihydroxy compound and the diaryl carbonate are used as raw materials using a production apparatus in which the porous plate-shaped polymerizer 2 and the scrubber 11 are connected via a pipe (A) 10. In the production of the aromatic polycarbonate, the effluent containing the by-produced aromatic monohydroxy compound, unreacted aromatic dihydroxy compound, diaryl carbonate, and accompanying condensate is subjected to polymerization under reduced pressure. From (2), the aromatic polycarbonate was polymerized by transesterification while extracting the scrubber 11 through the pipe A and using the scrubbing liquid to condensate and dissolve the effluent. In addition, the connection position of the piping A which connects the polymerization reactor 2 and the scrubber 11 is a linear motion part of a polymerization reactor, and shall be the lower half side of a linear motion part. |
