titleOfInvention | Method for producing aromatic polycarbonate |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] Since there is no problem of sticking and clogging by distillate, there is no need for switching operation and complicated piping and operation associated therewith, and there is no need for energy for melting solidified matter. In addition, the present invention provides a method for producing an aromatic polycarbonate, which can easily separate a compound for a scrubbing liquid from an unreacted substance and an accompanying condensate, and can stably produce an aromatic polycarbonate for a long period of time. SOLUTION: In the method for producing an aromatic polycarbonate by a transesterification method, (a) the vapor pressure at 190 ° C is 50 to 500 mmHg, (b) the melting point is 30 ° C or less, and (c) the number average molecular weight is 2500. A method for producing an aromatic polycarbonate, wherein a distillate is condensed and dissolved with a scrubber having a compound for a scrubbing liquid which dissolves at least 5% by weight of an aromatic polycarbonate at 25 ° C. |
