titleOfInvention | Cellulose ester film, method for producing same, and polarizing plate using same |
abstract | The present invention provides a cellulose ester film which is excellent in brittleness or elasticity after extrusion and after extrusion, while maintaining optical performance such as transparency and retardation at an appropriate level, and a method for producing the same. Also provided is a polarizing plate provided with the cellulose ester film and free from color unevenness even when used in a liquid crystal display device. When the refractive index in the x direction and the refractive index in the y direction are ny and the elastic modulus in the x direction is Ex and the elastic modulus in the y direction is Ey, the cellulose ester film of the present invention has nx < ny, Further, the cellulose ester film which is in a small and large relationship represented by Ex> Ey and in which the slow axis is perpendicular to the direction in which the elastic modulus is maximum is used. The cellulose ester film is stretched by not less than 15% When measured, nx > ny, and the slow axis is parallel to the direction in which the elastic modulus is maximum. |
