The present invention relates to a polymeric dispersion without water and volatile organic solvents for the preparation of a lubricant composition for glass yarns, and in particular for the finishing of glass yarns in the grid and fabrics and for the assembly of said glass yarns. The dispersion includes a product obtained by polymerizing a vinyl monomer in the presence of a free radical initiator in a reactive organic dispersion medium. The dispersion contains from 20 to 70% by weight of polymer in the form of substantially spherical microparticles of size less than 40 탆.
