titleOfInvention Method for preparing metallothionine, a heavy metal contamination biomarker
abstract The present invention shows a characteristic that MT is amplified by the expression of metallothionein (MT) gene in fish exposed to heavy metals, and thus is a biomarker useful for detecting contamination of edible fish such as farmed fishes of heavy metals. It relates to an efficient method for preparing metallothionine that can be used as a biomarker).n n n According to the present invention, after anesthesia of the fish, a high concentration solution of a heavy metal salt such as cadmium chloride is dissolved in physiological saline and injected, so that the fish is not killed through proper hygiene management so that high concentration of metallothionine can be easily induced and induced. In the recovery of metallothionine induced in the fish during the period, the blood is collected without complex dissection process and the extraction of organs and organs such as liver and gills and the subsequent homogenization extraction process. The metallothionine induced in the blood of the collected and recovered fish can be easily purified from the serum of the fish so that it can be used as a standard for the preparation and analysis of metallothionine antibodies for each species through a simple anion exchange chromatography. Therefore, the efficient manufacturing method of metallothionine presented in the present invention is one of the source-based technologies essential for the development of biomarker retrieval technology for heavy metal contamination of edible fish such as cultured fish, and the fish metal produced as a product according to the method. The application of rothionine is expected to facilitate the development of analytical methods such as immune sensors and enzyme immunoassays for heavy metal contamination biomarkers.n n n n Heavy metal contamination, biomarker, metallothionine, edible fish
