titleOfInvention Method for preparing al-2-acyloxy-1-arylpropanone and s-2-hydroxy-1-arylpropanone derivative from racemic 2-hydroxy-1-arylpropanone derivative using lipase
abstract The present invention provides the preparation of S -2-hydroxy-1-arylpropanone and R -2-acyloxy-1-arylpropanone derivatives from racemic 2-hydroxy-1-arylpropanone derivatives using lipases. The method further relates to aceylation of racemic 2-hydroxy-1-arylpropanone in the presence of a lipase enzyme catalyst and optionally acylating a hydroxy group of the R -isomer with an acyl donor. , S -2-hydroxy-1-arylpropanone and R- 2-acyloxy-1-arylpropanone derivative. The present invention can be industrially useful because it can produce the target compound of high yield and optical purity by using a small amount of expensive enzyme compared to the conventional method.
