The present invention relates to a process for preparing a catalyst by adding urea, melamine, ammonium oxalate or methyl oxalate as a catalyst additive in preparing a catalyst used in the process for producing acrolein and acrylic acid with an oxygen containing gas and propylene. The catalyst prepared by the present invention can be used to produce acrolein in high yield. |
