The present invention is a method for producing a catalyst of formula (I) below for gas phase catalytic oxidation of propylene, secondary propanol, isobutylene or tert-butanol using molecular oxygen to produce acrolein or methacrolein. (1) removing formic acid by adding formic acid, oxalic acid or acetic acid to a raw material solution containing a catalyst component and nitrates; (2) drying the raw material solution to obtain a catalyst dry powder.n n n Mo a Bi b Fe c X d Y e Z f O g (I)n n n Wheren n n X, Y, Z, a, b, c, d, e, f and g are as defined in claim 1.n n n The catalyst produced by this method is not hygroscopic and has excellent extrusion moldability. |
