This protein can be used as a diagnostic reagent by its ability to recognize N-glycolylneuraminic acid, which is specifically expressed in various cancer types, and can be used as a carrier protein that chemically binds to drugs used in the treatment of various cancers. In itself, since it shows a proliferation inhibitory effect on various cancer cells, it can also be used as a cancer cell proliferation inhibitor. |
