abstract | According to the present invention, an aliphatic cyclic secondary alcohol compound or an aliphatic cyclic ketone compound in which at least one methylene group is bonded to a carbon atom to which a hydroxyl group is bonded or a carbon atom constituting a carbonyl group is obtained in the presence of trifluoroacetic acid. A method for producing an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid that oxidizes with nitrite or nitrate, wherein the total amount of the trifluoroacetic acid and water is 100% by mass, and the reaction is carried out with an amount of water of 5% by mass or less. Disclosed is a method for producing a featured aliphatic dicarboxylic acid compound. |
