NEW MATERIAL:An oxa(thia)zolidine derivative shown by formula I [X is O or S; R 1 is lower alkyl; R 2 is halogen, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy which may be replaced with halogen or phenyl which may be replaced with methylenedioxy group; R 3 is halogen, lower alkoxy which may be replaced with halogen, etc.; R 4 is lower aliphatic hydrocarbon group or group shown by formula II (R 6 is H or lower alkyl; R 7 is halogen, etc.), etc.]. n EXAMPLE: trans-5-(4-Chlorophenyl)-3-cyclohexylcarbamoyl-4-methyl-2-methylimio- oxazolidine. n USE: Is useful as an acaricide. Is sufficiently effective alone and becomes extremely effective by blending the derivative with a compound having insecticidal power against Tetranychidae living in plants. n PREPARATION: For example, a compound shown by formula III is reacted with a compound shown by formula IV (R 9 is lower aliphatic hydrocarbon group; Hal is halogen) to give a compound shown by formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1988,JPO&Japio |
