abstract |
PURPOSE: To provide the title or. glass compsn. to provide an org. glass film capable of preventing slip of a stained layer and excellent in adherability to the stained layer, by using therein a copolymer of glycidyl methacrylate and methyl methacrylate. n CONSTITUTION: A copolymer of glycidyl methacrylate and methyl methacrylate is preferably dissolved in an org. solvent (e.g., ethylene glycol) to prepare an org. glass compsn. for use in forming a color filter. A method of using this compsn. comprises sequential provision on a silicon wafer 1 of light detecting portions 2, a protective film 3, a leveling layer 4 and a layer 5 to be stained; patterning; staining to form a stained layer 5'; application and drying of the above-mentioned org. glass compsn. on the whole surface to form a staining- resistant insulating layer 7; and repetition of the foregoing procedures to form a color filter.
