titleOfInvention Method and reagent for measuring ratio between protein and dna in cell
abstract PURPOSE: To detect the protein and DNA in cells with high sensitivity by dyeing the cells with a fluorescent dyeing liquid contg. a hematoporphyrin or specific benzimidazole compd. or phenyl indol compd. n CONSTITUTION: The protein is selectively dyed and emits red fluorescence of 670nm max. wavelength by the irradiation of UV rays when the cells are dyed with the hematoporphyrin (P dye). The DNA is selectively dyed and emits blue fluorescence of 470nm max. wavelength by the irradiation of UV rays when the cells are dyed with 2-(2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-6-benzimidazolyl)-6-(1- methyl-4-piperadyl)-benzimidazole trihydrochloride (B dye) or 4,6-diamino-di-2-2 phenyl indol hydrochloride (I dye). The ratio of the DNA/protein is thus detected with high accuracy and the exact diagnosis is made as the cells are dyed with the fluorescent dyeing liquid contg. the P dye and the B dye or the I dye or the fluorescent dyeing liquid prepd. by adding auxiliary agents such as salt and mercaptoethylamine to said dyeing liquid. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
