titleOfInvention Cinnamic acid amide derivative
abstract NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I [either one of R 1 and R 2 is H, and the other is H or lower alkyl; R 3 is lower alkyl, aralkyl, aryloxyalkyl or diphenylalkyl which may have lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or halogen substituent group on the aromatic ring; m is 0 or 1; n is 1 or 2] and an acid addition salt thereof. n EXAMPLE: 3,4-Dihydroxy-N-[1-(3-phenylpropyl)-4-piperidyl]cinnamic acid amide.hydrochloride.monohydrate. n USE: A medicine such as antiallergic agent, antiasthmatic agent, antiinframmatory agent, etc., having inhibitory action on synthesis of slow-reacting substance of anaphylaxis (SRS-A), antihistamic action, preventing action on lipid peroxidation and free radical capturing action. n PREPARATION: A compound expressed by formula II or a reactive derivative thereof is reacted with a compound expressed by formula III in a solvent in the presence of a dehydrating agent, e.g. dicyclohexylcarbodiimide, to afford the aimed compound expressed by formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
