abstract | PURPOSE: A polycarbonate suitable for molding easily a large-sized molded article by injection compression molding, having specific viscosity-average molecular weight, ratio of weight-average molecular weight to number-average molecular weight, flow value, high specific strength and good appearance. n CONSTITUTION: A polycarbonate having 24,000W35,000, preferably 26,000W30,000 viscosity-average molecular weight (Mv), a molar ratio (Mw/Mn) of weight- average molecular weight (Mw) to number-average molecular weight (Mw) of 1.9W3.6, preferably 2.5W3.4 and 0.010W0.055ml/sec., preferably 0.015W0.040ml/ sec flow value.
