PURPOSE: To provide the titled compsn. having excellent lubricating effect, mold release characteristics and mechanical strength, consisting of an arom. polymer and a specified grafted polyolefin wax. n CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. polyolefin wax having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.04W 0.6dl/g in decalin at 135°C and 1W900pts.wt. mixture of a styrene compd. (a) such as (α-methyl)styrene and acrylonitrile (b) in a weight ratio of b/a of 0.1W5 are graft-polymerized in a solution state or in a molten state in the presence of a radical initiator by heating to obtain a modified polyolefin wax (A). 0.05W 30pts.wt. component A is blended with 100pts.wt. arom. polymer such as (modified) polyphenylene oxide. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio |
