PURPOSE: The titled composition, obtained by incorporating a specific styrene graft polyethylene wax with styrene polymer, and having improved releasability without deteriorating the mechanical strength or melt fluidity. n CONSTITUTION: A composition prepared by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. styrene homopolymer or a styrene polymer which is a copolymer of styrene with acrylonitrile, butadiene, etc. with (B) 0.1W20pts.wt., preferably 0.5W5pts.wt., styrene graft polyethylene wax obtained by grafting 1W90pts.wt. styrene onto 99W 10pts.wt. polyethylene wax having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.06W2.0dl/g (measured in decaline solvent at 35°C). The styrene polymer having a high molecular weight provides a molded article having improved appearance and dimensional accuracy. The polymer having a low molecular weight provides a resin for electrophotographic toners having improved heat fixing property and adhesion to fixing rolls. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio |
