titleOfInvention Gelatinous deodorant and antifungal agent
abstract PURPOSE: A gelatinous deodorant and antifungal agent, containing a gelling agent, a chlorite and an activator, easily preparable at room temperature and about neutral pH, and capable of emitting chlorine dioxide gas in a desired controlled volume. n CONSTITUTION: A gelatinous deodorant and antifungal agent containing a gelling agent, e.g. gum, water absorbing resin, particularly preferably a chemically modified gum, a chlorite, e.g. an alkali (earth) metal salt, and an activator, e.g. a hydroxymethanesulfonate or glyoxal. An aqueous solution of the chlorite is preferably a solution of 5W11pH. The above-mentioned gelatinous deodorant and antifungal agent has a sufficient activation ability at room temperature or a temperature in a refrigerator and at about neutral pH, and is capable of emitting chlorine dioxide gas in a desired controlled volume by controlling the amout of the activator to be added. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1985,JPO&Japio
