titleOfInvention Heat-sensitive transfer recording method
abstract PURPOSE:To perform the heat-sensitive transfer recording of pictures having excellent fixedness and excellent light resistance by a method in which a heat energy is given to a transfer master having a transfer layer containing a specific colorant to form a chelated color picture on a picture-receiving sheet. CONSTITUTION:A heat energy is given from the supporter side to a transfer master in which a transfer layer containing a colorant having a heat-sublimating property and a chelating property, preferably having a sublimation temperature of 80-250 deg.C and capable of forming 3-coordination chelate complex with multi- valent metal ions [e.g., Cu(II), etc.]), together with a binder (e.g., polyvinyl acetate, etc.) as needed, is formed on a supporter in such a way that said colorant is transferred by sublimation on the picture-receiving sheet containing said multivalent metal ions and a chelated color picture is formed on the picture- receicing sheet.
