titleOfInvention Developing solution used for positive type photosensitive lithographic plate
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a developing soln. superior in developing power, developing stability, processing capability, and small in foaming, by incorporating a water- soluble org. metallic surfactant in an aq. soln. of alkali silicate in developing a positive type photosensitive lithographic plate having a quinonediazide photosensitive layer. n CONSTITUTION: The developing soln. contains 1W10wt% sodium silicate. When higher than 10wt%, precipitate or crystals are produced, and it is gelatinized in neutralization during disposal of the waste water, and when lower than 1wt%, developing power and processing capability are lowered. As the alkali silicate, sodium silicate, amine silicate, etc. alone and combinations are used. A SiO 2 to M 2 O molar ratio of it is controlled in 0.5W3.0, where M is alkali. When higher than 3.0, developing power is lowered, and when lower than 0.5,alkali strength is too high to etch metals, such as aluminum plate. As the water-soluble org. metallic surfactant, compds. can be exemplified by the formulae as shown. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio
