titleOfInvention Agent for raising image sharpness added into developing solution dependent on dissolution speed difference and developing composition containing it
abstract PURPOSE:To enable faithful and sharp transfer under ordinary developing conditions by adding a small amt. of an image sharpness raising agent into a developing solution. CONSTITUTION:An agent used as an image sharpness raising agent contains as an effective component an F-contg. carboxylic acid, acidic surfactant, or their ammonium salts or 1-6 C alkyl primary, secondary, or tertiary amine salts. Said F-contg. carboxylic acid is as follows: X(CF2)lCOOH, X(CF2)mC(R<1>)(R<2>) (CH2)nCOOH, CF3CF2O(CF2CF2O)nCF2COOH, or CF3CF2CF2O- [CF(CF3)CF2O]n CF(CF3)COOH, where X is H, F, CF3CHF, (CF3)2CH, or (CF3)2CF; R<1>, R<2> are each H or 1-6 C alkyl; l is 1-10; m is 0-10, but when X is H, m is 1-10; and n is 0-3.
