abstract |
PURPOSE: To obtain a medium having a magnetic layer which is excellent in an electromagnetic conversion characteristic and durability by using synthetic urethane acrylate prepd. by using polyester polyol having a specific structure as a curable binder and coating a magnetic coating liquid consisting essentially of such binder and magnetic powder on a base and curing the coating by irradiating an electron ray thereto. n CONSTITUTION: A curable binder is the urethane acrylate obtd. by reaction of hydroxyl group-contg. (meth)acrylate, polyisocyanate and polyester polyol, wherein ≥50mol% polyhydric alcohol component constituting the polyester polyol is ≥1 kind selected from dihydric alcohols and ≥50mol% polybasic acid component constituting the polyester polyol is ≥1 kind selected from dibasic acids. The urethane acrylate having such structure is used as a binder and an electron ray is irradiated thereto, whereby the dispersibility of the ferromagnetic pulverous powder is considerably improved and the electromagnetic conversion characteristic is improved. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1984,JPO&Japio |
