PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition having excellent impregnation property to substrates and excellent electrical properties, etc., by mixing an unsaturated polyester resin composed of a specific unsaturated alkyd and a crosslinking monomer, with a specific amount of an unsaturated polyester resin for the control of hardness. n CONSTITUTION: The objective unsaturated polyester resin composition is prepared by mixing (A) 30W99wt% of an unsaturated polyester resin composed of an unsaturated alkyd obtaned by the reaction of dicyclopentadiene, an unsaturated polybasic carboxylic acid (e.g. fumaric acid) and a polyhydric alcohol (e.g. ethylene glycol), etc., and a crosslinking monomer (e.g. styrene), with (B) 1W 70wt% of an unsaturated polyester resin for the control of hardness, and adding a curing agent (e.g. peroxyketals, etc.), etc. to the mixture. The composition is impregnated in e.g. a cellulosic substrate and laminated to obtain electrical laminate. n EFFECT: Excellent cold punchability and heat softening resistance. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1983,JPO&Japio |
