abstract PURPOSE:To prepare a high viscosity refrigerator oil composition which can be stably used together with flon gas in a refrigerator, by compounding a synthetic polyether oil with a specific amount of a compound having epoxycycloalkyl group in the molecule. CONSTITUTION:The objective refrigerator oil composition is prepared by compounding a synthetic polyether oil with (A) 0.1-4wt% of a compound having an epoxycycloalkyl group in the molecule, and if necessary, (B) 0.1-4wt% of an aromatic antioxidant having one or two N atoms or one N and one S atoams in the molecule. The component (A) is pref. 3,4-epoxycyclohexylmethyl-3,4-epoxycyclohexane-carboxylate, vinylcyclohexene dioxide, etc., and the component (B) is pref. phenyl- alpha-naphthylamine and N-nitrosodiphenylamine.
