titleOfInvention High-crystallinity propylene polymer for injection molding
abstract PURPOSE: The titled polymer having a good balance among fluidity, rigidity and impact resistance, prepared by (co)polymerizing propylene with the aid of specified catalyst consisting of a titanium (III) halide, an organoaluminum compound and an electron-donating compound. n CONSTITUTION: A high-crystallinity propylene polymer for injection molding, content of ethylene and other α-olefins ≤8wt%, boiling heptane-insoluble portion ≥92%, weight-average MW/number-average MW ratio ≥8, melt index (230°C, 2.16kg) 0.1W100g/10min, is prepared by (co)polymerizing propylene with the aid of a catalyst consisting of a titanium (III) halide, e.g., titanium trichloride, an organoaluminum compound represented by the formula, wherein Y is a group bonding to the Al via O, N or S, X is halogen, R is H, a 1W18C alkyl, an aryl or the like, 0<m<2, 0≤n<2 and 0<m+n≤2, and an electron-donating compound, e.g., ethyl anisate. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
