PURPOSE: An amphiblocking drug for α and β receptors with low toxicity for use as a drug for hypertonia, angina pectoris, anhythmia, or migraine, consisting of phenylethanolamine derivative as an active ingredient. n CONSTITUTION: An amphiblocking drug for α and β receptors consisting of a phenylethanolamine derivative shown by the formula (R is methyl or methoxy), preferably 5-[1-hydroxy-2-[2-(2-methoxyphenoxy)ethylamino]ethyl]-2-methylbenzenesulfonamide hydrochloride and 5-[1-hydroxy-2-[2-(2-methoxyphenoxy)ethylamino]ethyl]-2-methoxybenzenesulfonamide hydrochloride as an active ingredient. 30W300mg of the drug is given daily, preferably 100mg is administered in two or three times a day for medical treatment of hypertonia, and 100W300mg of the drug is administered, preferably about 200mg is given in two or three times a day for cure of angina pectoris and anhythmia. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
