titleOfInvention Production of hollow fiber
abstract PURPOSE: Hollow fibers made by adding a specific nonreactive component to a usual polyester are immersed in an aqueous alkaline compound. Thus producing good- touch hollow fibers that have high water and moisture absorbance with less strength reduction. n CONSTITUTION: Said fiber consists of polyester A with major recurring unit of the formula (n is 2W6 integral number) and polyester B that together contains polyester A and a polyoxyalkylene glycol or a combination thereof with an organic sulfonic metal salt of RSO 3 M (M is metal of alkali or alkaline earth; R is 3W30C alkyl, 7W40C aryl or alkylaryl). Polyester A and polyester B contact with each other to form the fiber surface and simultaneously arrange in the fiber direction. Hollow fibers of 5W70% polyester B content at the cross section are immersed in an aqueous solution of alkaline compound. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
