titleOfInvention Electrostatic charge image toner
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the electrostatic charge image toners for color copying of stable polarity and a long life by using kaolin, calcium carbonate, etc. being the charge control materials which are virtually colorless and are superior in negative chargeability. n CONSTITUTION: About 5W20pts.wt. of haolin or calcium carbonate is added to 100pts.wt. of binder resin (for example, polyester) and further coloring agents are compounded to prepare the toners. For example, benzidine yellow (for yellow toners), quinacridone base magenta pigments (for magenta toners), copper phthalocyanine (for cyan toners), etc. are used for the above-mentioned coloring agents. It is equally well to further add about 0.01W5wt% of hydrophobic colloidal silica as a lubricant. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
