| abstract | PURPOSE: A zinc salt of organic acid, an organic acid salt of a metal of group IIa, a tri- more hydric alcohol, and a specific phosphite compound are added to a halogen-containing resin, thus stabilizing the resin against heat and light. n CONSTITUTION: To 100 parts by wt of halogen-containing resin, are added (A) 0.01W10, preferably 0.1W3 parts of zinc salt of an organic acid, such as caproic, pelargonic, or benzoic acid, (B) 0.01W10, preferably 0.1W3 parts of a organic acid salt of a metal of group IIa, (C) 0.001W5, preferably 0.01W3 parts of a tri- or more hydric alcohol as trimethylolethane, glycerol, and (D) 0.01W5, preferably 0.05W3 parts of a phosphite of the formula (R 1 is tertiary butyl, tert. amyl, R 2 is H, 1W5C alkyl; R 3 is H or methyl, R is H, alkyl, R' is H; A is residue of di-or trihydric alcohol or polyhydric phenol; m is 0W1; n is 0W5), thus producing the objective composition. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio |
