abstract PURPOSE: To provide an antifreezing agent which forms a protective layer having excellent adhesive properties, water resistance and wind resistance on the surface of an object, obtd. by incorporating polyacrylic acid and salt thereof into a mixt. of water and specified alcohol. n CONSTITUTION: A mixt. of water and at least one alcohol selected from lower primary alcohols such as methyl alcohol or ethyl alcohol, polyhydric alcohols such as alkylene glycol and ether alcohols such as ether alcohol of ethylene glycol is blended with 0.01W10wt% of polyacrylate contg.
