abstract (57) Abstract: A tea bag for ice tea, which is immersed in cold water to obtain ice tea having a sufficient flavor. SOLUTION: The tea bag contains about 30 to about 95% by weight of tea leaves, and about 5 to about 70% by weight of a tea mixture comprising dry soluble tea solids. The tea bag can be immersed in cold water to obtain an ice tea beverage having an acceptable color and flavor in about 10 minutes or less.
