A solid golf ball comprising, as a main component: The solid golf ball of the present invention has good moldability at the time of production, has excellent hit feeling, controllability, and high resilience, and has little abrasion damage due to the impact of an iron club. According to the manufacturing method, mass production of such golf balls becomes possible.
