(57) [Summary] (Modified) [Problem] It is known that a drug particle having a small particle size adheres to the surface of an excipient having a large particle size. In addition, it does not separate from the excipient and deposits in the mouth, vagina, and throat, failing to exhibit the expected medicinal effects. On the other hand, if the adhesive force is too weak, the drug adheres to the mixing container in the process of producing the mixed powder, causing loss. An object of the present invention is to provide a powdery pharmaceutical composition for inhalation, which has an optimum adhesive force between drug fine particles and excipient particles and maximizes production efficiency and efficacy. SOLUTION: A powdery pharmaceutical composition for inhalation comprising drug fine particles molded to a sphericity of 0.90 or more and an excipient. [Effect] In a powdered inhalant, the efficiency of deposition on the trachea, bronchi and lungs is increased by molding the drug particles into a spherical shape. |
