abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] Exceeds the limit of urethane paints using conventional castor oil-based polyols and has a wide range of properties including water resistance, corrosion resistance, curability, workability, and low foaming properties. It is an object of the present invention to provide a urethane-based coating composition. SOLUTION: This is a coating composition containing a polyisocyanate component (X) and a polyol component (Y) as main resin components. The polyol component (Y) contains at least a part of dimer or more oxycarboxylic acid oligomer units (a) in which carboxylic acids having OH groups or carboxylic acids having OH groups and carboxylic acids having no OH groups are condensed. A polyester polyol (Y1) composed of a carboxylic acid unit (A) and a polyhydric alcohol unit (B).
