abstract |
(57) [Problem] To provide a method for easily producing a transversely stretched thermoplastic polymer film having uniform physical properties without thickness unevenness in a width direction. SOLUTION: A transversely stretched thermoplastic polymer film is produced by passing a thermoplastic polymer film through a transverse stretching apparatus in which at least a preheating section, a stretching section and a heat fixing section are arranged in this order. In the method, A method for producing a transversely stretched thermoplastic polymer film, characterized in that the thermoplastic polymer film is heated so that the temperature distribution in the width direction of the surface is substantially constant at least in the heat-fixed portion. |
