(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To obtain an all-round golf ball having excellent flight performance and durability, soft and good feel and controllability. SOLUTION: In a three-piece solid golf ball having a three-layer structure of a solid core, an intermediate layer and a cover, the center hardness of the core is 75 degrees or less and the core surface hardness is 85 degrees as measured by a JIS-C type hardness meter. The core surface hardness is 5 to 25 degrees higher than the core center hardness, the intermediate layer hardness is higher than the core surface hardness less than 10 degrees, and the cover hardness is higher than the intermediate layer hardness.
