Multi-piece solid golf ball |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a multi-piece solid golf ball comprising a core, an outermost layer cover having a plurality of dimples formed on the surface thereof, and one or more intermediate layers interposed therebetween. And at least one layer and the outermost layer cover are formed using a thermoplastic resin containing an ionomer as a main material, and the main material resin of the outermost layer cover contains a terpolymer ionomer of 20% by mass or less. Provided is a multi-piece solid golf ball comprising 0.1 to 5.0 parts by mass of organic short fibers with respect to 100 parts by mass of the main resin of the outermost layer cover. . [Effect] The golf ball of the present invention has a sufficiently satisfactory flying and a good shot feeling, and is excellent in both crack durability and abrasion resistance upon repeated hitting.
