SOLUTION: General formula 1 (R 1 and R 2 are hydrogen, halogen, an alkoxy group, a haloalkyl group or a nitro group, * represents an asymmetric carbon, but R 1 and R 2 are not chlorine at the same time.) Using active mandelic acid, in a dialkyl ether of the general formula (2) R 3 —O—R 4 (2) (R 3 represents a C1-6 alkyl group, R 4 represents a C4-6 alkyl group). Optical resolution method of 1-phenylethylamines for optical resolution.
