titleOfInvention Method of bonding polyparaphenylene benzobisoxazole fiber to rubber
abstract (57) Abstract: [PROBLEMS] To provide a method for adhering PBO fiber and rubber with improved adhesiveness. In this adhesion method, a polyparaphenylene benzobisoxazole fiber cord is treated with a first treatment liquid consisting of an epoxy compound, a rubber latex, and a heat-reactive water-soluble urethane resin, and then resorcin, formalin, and rubber. After being treated with a second treatment liquid composed of latex, it is integrally vulcanized with unvulcanized rubber.
