abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] To further enhance the functionality of collagen spinning without losing the original feel. [Structure] The biocompatible thread according to the present invention is produced by injecting an acidic collagen solution into an aqueous polysaccharide solution. Conversely, a biocompatible thread may be obtained by injecting a polysaccharide aqueous solution into a collagen acidic solution. In addition, in order to enhance the biocompatibility of the thread and the functionality thereof, the polysaccharide may be a mucopolysaccharide that forms a complex with a transition metal ion. For the same reason, as the polysaccharide, a mucopolysaccharide complexing with a nucleic acid is used, and a physiologically active factor may be added to the nucleic acid.
