abstract An antithrombotic modifier capable of immobilizing an antithrombotic drug on a surface without using an organic solvent, and a medical device in which the antithrombotic modifier is applied to the surface of a blood contact portion. The antithrombotic modifier of the present invention is an antithrombotic modifier that immobilizes an antithrombotic agent on the blood contact portion of a medical device mainly composed of collagen and imparts antithrombogenicity, The antithrombotic drug is anionic. Antithrombotic drugs are argatroban, nafamostat mesylate, warfarin, aspirin and the like. The medical device of the present invention is a medical device mainly composed of collagen, and is characterized in that an anionic antithrombotic drug is immobilized on the surface of the blood contact portion.
