abstract (57) [Summary] [Purpose] A film that is transparent to visible light and has an excellent cut-off effect to infrared light, and a pollution-free film forming material therefor. [Structure] An ITO powder (preferably, one that cuts off infrared rays on a wavelength side longer than a certain wavelength of 1000 nm or less) is contained in water and / or alcohol together with a binder (metal alkoxide and / or organic resin). A transparent film is formed from a film forming material. [Effect] A large area transparent infrared cutoff film can be mass-produced at low cost without adversely affecting the environment.
