(57) [Summary] [Purpose] The surface hardness of the UV-shielding coating formed is high, Also provided are a UV-shielding paint that can be applied in the field, and a UV-shielding transparent body that is coated with this paint to form a UV-shielding coating film. [Structure] An ultraviolet ray-shielding coating material of the present invention is constituted by mixing and dispersing an organic ultraviolet ray absorbing agent in a room temperature curing type inorganic coating material containing silicon alkoxide as a main component. An ultraviolet-shielding coating film 2 of the ultraviolet-shielding coating material is formed on one side or both sides of the transparent substrate 1. |
